Subject: two cool tools
found these incredibly useful:
1. java decompiler. fast as anything, has succesfully decompiled
everything I've thrown at it:

2. Pure java debugger.
finally found a debugger that works well-ish on linux. it claims only to
work on 1.1.5 compiled classes, but I have had some success. seems to be
more fussy that your classes are compiled under the same version as you
run the debugger under.

over and out.
