This is to be patched against clean 2.0.29. It is the 2.0.30 patch WITHOUT the changes to the ip networking code. So essentially you will be running a 30 kernel with 29 networking. I've been using it on my 2 machines and they haven't fallen over since I installed it (~7.5 hrs). I would be interested in seeing if it falls over on the machines which are having these hanging problems...... the url is ftp.uk.linux.org/pub/linux/incoming/patch-2.0.30-nonetchange.gz - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-kernel" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.rutgers.edu
