From: wware-nospam@world.std.com (Will Ware) Subject: DSP simulator (tms320c50) Date: Fri, 6 Mar 1998 08:38:04 GMT -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- C50SIM, simulator for TMS320C50 dsp ftp://ftp.std.com/pub/wware/c50sim.tar.gz This is a simulator for the TMS320C50 digital signal processor. I have done very little work on it recently and can make no claims for its accuracy. I dimly remember that it needed more work on things like interrupts and repeat instructions. I have no plans to do any more work on the thing, and I __DEFINITELY__ have __ABSOLUTELY NO__ plans to provide support of any kind. c25lib.[ch] defines something you link to code of your own writing to create a customized simulator. Examples of this are hack.c, exam1.c, exam2.c, and exam3.c. The exam[123].c programs are meant to test the pipelining examples in the C50 data book. I don't remember what hack.c is all about. When you write your own simulator, you will want to define your hardware and also define how you want error statements to be handled. The example of how to do this is in common.c. Let me clarify one point: THIS SOFTWARE IS UNSUPPORTED. Do not email me asking for any kind of help relating to this (or for that matter, my earlier stuff regarding the C25 dsp). You will NOT receive a response. If you need technical support from Texas Instruments, visit their web page at http://www.ti.com. I have no past or present connection with them, and I wasn't put on this earth to help you find your way out of a paper bag. - -- - ------------------------------------------------------------- Will Ware email: wware[at]world[dot]std[dot]com PGP fp (new key 07/15/97) 67683AE2 173FE781 A0D99636 0EAE6117 - -- This article has been digitally signed by the moderator, using PGP. http://www.iki.fi/mjr/cola-public-key.asc has PGP key for validating signature.
