IPChains is a kernel patch (for 2.0.x and 2.1.x kernels) and a utility
(`ipchains') to replace ipfwadm and the normal Linux firewalling.  It
contains various enhancements over standard firewalling.

Changes since 1.2.2:

	o Many documentation and HOWTO fixes and updates.
	  [Thanks to Dr. Liviu Daia and Matt Kemner.]

	o ipchains-save bugfix with destination ports.
	  [Thanks to Kevin Littlejohn.]

	o `ipchains -X' now deletes all user-defined chains.
	  [Thanks to feedback from John D. Hardin]

	o Can now specify what packets to be copied to NETLINK device
          (2.1.x kernels only).

	o A simple library to make using the netlink device easier.

	o Masquerading listing fixed.

	o Understands ICMP masquerading.

	o Requires new kernel patch.

Changes in kernel patch since 1.2:

	o Bogus `loop detected' message due to race condition now
	  fixed (also fixes possibility of counter inaccuracies).

	o Masquerading modules now fixed for 2.0.x kernels.
	  [Thanks to Marko Injac, and feedback from R. Garth Wood].

	o Verbose packet info now logged at KERN_INFO level.

	o Policies have packet and byte counters, for completeness.

	o Should be SMP safe now (testers wanted -- my laptop is not SMP).
