                          Linux Questionaire:

Originally intended  only for local use to help us planning installation
fests and Linux tutorials, we found it nice to open this service to the
whole Linux community.  The questionnaire consists of 20 questions which
cover software, hardware, documentation and  installation issues. The
questions are a mixture of multiple choice  and text areas. The results
are updated  hourly and can be seen at

The objective  of the questionnaire is to provide a somewhat
standardized  way to report your experience with Linux and  the results
should give esp. the  newcomer a (naturally coarse-grained) view on
Linux and  its users.

So, if you want to report your experience with Linux and its software,
please participate.  If you know somebody who wants to start with Linux
point him or her to the results and he or she can get a first impression
of the areas others use Linux  and what sucks resp. pleases them.
