Subject: What do you want on ftp.java-linux.org and its mirrors?

The new java-linux site is beginning to take form.
http://www.java-linux.org is updated with the same look and a few broken
links and spelling mistakes. If you choose to take a look, keep in mind
that it still has some rough edges and will not be done until the FTP
site and Mailing-Lists are complete. 

Dan, Karl and I are now shifting our efforts towards updating the FTP
tree. The FTP tree will be mirrored to over 30 sites throughout the
world and updated within 12 hours from upload to the mirrors.

We want your feedback on the ftp site content. How does this sound:
- jdk ports for ALL LINUX PLATFORMS: sun's jdk, kaffe (is it still
free?), etc...
- RPM's , debian packages (anyone want to maintain these?)
- jdk diffs for ALL LINUX PLATFORMS
- TYA, JIT's, etc...
- patches to make java software work on linux (JWS, JavaServer, etc...)

and possibly have:
- essential java products: hotjava (check licence?), jdk api docs
- projects uploaded by the author that will assist java development
                - not necessarily java code, but assists java
development
		- must be "for linux" (I know it's vague but we must
separate 		                  ourselves from gamelan.com somehow)
                - author maintains current versions
