Date: Thu, 12 Mar 1998 21:14:19 -0500 (EST) From: Jeremy Dinsel <dinselj@sighsy.cup.edu> To: Linux Doc <linux-doc@vger.rutgers.edu> Subject: New Man Page I took a man page originally written by a man named Henry Spencer, who from word of mouth was no longer interested in maintaining the document, and updated it under the request of a person on linux-alert/security list. The man page is setuid.7 and runs down the considerations of writing setuid programs. There was a general lack of information like this in the Linux world/let alone the UNIX world as a whole. I would like to submit this article to the Linux Documentation Project for inclusion into the distribution. Can someone inform me of the steps to accomplish this task? Thanks. -- Jeremy Dinsel (PGP key: finger dinselj@sighsy.cup.edu ) (PGP key: http://sighsy.cup.edu/~dinselj) Cal U Math and Computer (PGP use preferred) Science World Wide Web System Administrator
