From: fbm@jolt.mpx.com.au (Farrell McKay) Subject: WANTED: A volunteer to take over the XFree86 Xbench survey effort Date: 16 Mar 1998 13:10:54 GMT After three and a half years of managing the XFree86 Xbench survey, the time has come for me to hand over the reins to the next volunteer. This is a call to all enthusiastic and creative XFree86 users out there on the net. Are you interested in performing the collation and publishing of XBench results sent to you from all over the world? Do you have somewhere you can set up and run a new XBench web site? Do you have access to Usenet, for publishing summarized results? Can you breath life into a project that has gathered a few cobwebs lately? If you can answer yes to all these questions, please drop me a line, and explain a little about what resources you can dedicate to the survey, and what new ideas you might have for it. I will send to the new curator copies of all the XBench results databases, all the scripts I have assembled for managing the survey, and copies of the various web site pages from http://www.goof.com/xbench/ Regards, Farrell McKay -- Farrell.McKay@mpx.com.au http://www.fortify.net/
